I had a wonderful time and picked up lots before putting them back because i couldn't justify buying them. An exquisite form of torture.
I hope your next haul of library books is a good one. Just another thing to tick off the list. We got a rebate the following year though that we weren’t expecting. It hasn't made any difference to our consumption and occasionally they still come and read the meter although I was told when it was installed - and we didn't request it, they just did it although I suppose we could've refused it - that the readings would be sent from the meter straight through to the office, etc, etc.
I've just had a very nice email, Sue, thanking me for my donation to Lymphoma Action in Col's memory. I feel there must ...I won't have a smart meter. I feel there must be some sort of benefit to the supplier and the meters are to help them. I think they will use the information they gain as a way of increasing your tariff. So, if you use more in the morning, they will charge you a more expensive tariff and then if you switch to evening usage they will increase that tariff too. Companies never give you something for nothing unless it benefits them. HMRC are always on the ball after someone has passed away! I think you're doing brilliantly so keep strong! Usually confuses the caller as that’s not on their script. I’m reading Crooked Heart by Lissa Evans for my Readers’ Group, but I’m not really enjoying it. It’s anout a WW2 evacuee.
