Many years ago I had one similar to that. How nice that you got to spend some time with family too. I know those grandchildren must have really grown!Bonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17738727252267659979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4787951981229151015.post-23150964383880183742021-08-03T18:04:11.021+01:002021-08-03T18:04:11.021+01:00Sportsmanship is important and it is unfortunate w...Sportsmanship is important and it is unfortunate when someone displays bad behavior over not winning. Catching the act on TV for the world to see makes it worse. Overall the Olympics are being enjoyed by all. Inspired by your luck at Boot sales, I visited a sale and found an Asian black lacquer cabinet with minimal floral inlay. I could not resist this purchase. I will consider this my Christmas present. The bigger one was absolutely heaving when we went a month ago - so crowded I felt uncomfortable - but this time it was much quieter and lots of room to wander round. The Saturday one in Llandod was as it seems to be - less than a dozen cars and just a few people wandering round.

I bet you are glad to have the toofs nearly sorted and your washing line up. Ours got wrecked when the polytunnel flattened it back in that May gale, and needs to go to the tip, if we can manage to get it in the back of the car. Not bothering replacing it, but using two old laundry "horses" instead (in former times, those were used for displaying quilts etc at Fairs). We have hanging rails in the Utility to dry stuff the rest of the year.

Well done to youngest grandson taking his first steps! They all develop at different rates. Our eldest daughter was slow to walk (14 mths?) but said her first proper word - other than dada and mama, at 7 months! ("Pretty"!) Her sister, on the other hand, was trying to climb out of the play pen at 10 mths!

I did manage to get a BIG terracotta pot last week so am delighted with that. Hope some turn up for you soon.

Bovey Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13117332471600275100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4787951981229151015.post-48894746482736318952021-08-03T08:20:12.765+01:002021-08-03T08:20:12.765+01:00Pleased the dentist will be soon over..

It's so good to have a washing line and I love those rotary lines, so good for smaller gardens and just easier to use.
Nearly done at the dentist - I'm glad it seems to have gone well.
xxJoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16116524003944939298noreply@blogger.com
