This is what they looked like........... the hampers I put together for Colin's sister and my sister and their husbands..
Edibles and 'drinkables', some things bought and several things home made and the mini Christmas crackers to trim and some festive pot pourri. I think it looked quite cheerful.
Until this year I've never actually been with either H and S or L and J when they've opened the wrappings, so I was a bit nervous, but I think they were OK with them. I did tell them the toffee vodka could be used as a paint stripper if they didn't like it!

It looks absolutely fantastic and a wonderful gift for lucky recipients. A real gift of love.

I would be more than OK with a gift like that :-)
ReplyDeleteAs Joy says, a gift of love. And so much more useful than many Christmas gifts which will just end up in landfill. You've put together a gift which will give delight long after December 25th
ReplyDeleteIf I had received one of your hampers in previous years, I would be looking forward to receiving the same every year, just like people do with their F & M hampers. A thoughtful and well presented gift (and one which won't end up in landfill) and even better, all home made.
ReplyDeleteI think that's the best sort of present and something that will give pleasure to the recipient for quite a while.
ReplyDeleteI would have been happy with one of your hampers some lovely looking treats. I am always happy with my family's presents, my daughters has an act of knowing just what I want, my son and children also tells her what I would like, and have had lots of things for the garden.
