Halfway to Halloween

Time to add my Halloween bits to the top of the bookshelves. Pumpkins, bats and battery lights.

I've made more space for my seasonal displays as I picked up a small nest of 3 pine side tables from the nearest second-hand furniture place. The tiniest table fitted into the small space between bookshelves where the plugs are and I've moved my radio and lamp there.

  1. I've had my pumpkins out for a while (oh that sounds rude) I have a few more for my bowl in the dining room, all are fake, some are many years old.

  4. It's bittersweet here. Missing the immense Hallowe'en village display my lovely friend filled her dresser with. As for me, I simply do not have the energy to dig out the boxes. So, going to enjoy yours instead!

    1. Now I just have a box full of the different bits and have fitted in to the bottom of the wardrobe, it's easier to find what I have - better than sorting through the boxes in the garage

  6. That is a lovely Autumn themed display. Your nesting tables sound excellent. The table in your photo shows solid wood. Lucky find.

    1. The photo is the top of the book case and yes it is wood. The table is tiny and too low to see

  9. Beautiful. I put mine up for Canadian Thanksgiving, 2nd weekend in October and will alter it after Hallowe'en to be a fall display to stay up until American Thanksgiving, 4th Thursday in November. Great find on the nest of tables, so useful.

  10. A lovely display. I haven't put any up this year. Time has really got away from me. I can't believe it's the middle of October already!

  12. We never get any children here, or perhaps just one or two. I do have an idea for next year though which will consist of me reusing a few things to make pumpkins.

    God bless.
