How wonderful you have frogs! We haven't had any frogs in our pond for over a year now, I am not sure why...I think it was from when we had masses of tadpoles that never turned into frogs for some reason. It has been cleaned out since then as I thought perhaps it was the water that was a problem.
We have seen Mr Toad in our garden, hiding 'neath the black refuse sacks containing garden waste waiting to go to the recycling centre (aka Tip), but as we don't have a pond, no frogs. Margaret P
I love frogs and I don't even have a pond. They hide in my flower beds and I suspect they come out at night and bathe in the many water bowls I have lying around.
I really wish I could like frogs and it is lovely that so many people do but unfortunately I don't do reptiles or animals without fur so our pond is quite frog less. Give me spiders any day. The frogs actually look cute in the picture but if they jumped out at me I know you wouldn't see me for dust LOL!!
Still to find a spot for a small pond, every time I find a place my other half says there is a pipe under ground. But I love the whole ecosystem that goes with water, damselflies and dragonflies, newts and frogs.
Forgot to add I am not getting your posts on my reading list? I know I deleted/unfollowed some blogs the other day, if I have unfollowed you it is not intentionally, having one of my moments.
It might be small to us, Sue, but that mini pond is Loch Ness to the frogs!

Very rarely do I see frogs any longer. You are very lucky.

One thing our garden lacks. May just have a word with the gardeners. When I have paid for all the roofing and Soffits (?) being done.

ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely little pond. The frogs are enjoying the mild weather.

ReplyDeleteDo they sing? I loved hearing the frogs sing in the ponds when we were at our summer cottage.
ReplyDeleteEvery garden needs a small frog pond, I think. I have a large bull frog in mine and he makes quite a splash when I walk by.
ReplyDeleteOh dear...had you been practicing spell making for Halloween just before you noticed them! x
