The Z in amaZing is because of all the places all around the world where the folks who read my ramblings live.
I couldn't believe how many people took the time to reply in a comment.
A Very Big THANK YOU!
The word Zenith is not a word I've used in general conversation............as far as I can remember.
It's a word originally from the Arabic meaning "the way over ones head" and became the name for the point at which the sun or moon is directly above you and seems to be at it's highest.
Now it can be "the time at which something is at it's highest point or most successful".
I wonder if we ever know when we are at our highest point or most successful until it's in the past and we are on the way down and out?
What a cheerful thought to end the A-Z!
And tomorrow the blog will be back to normal although I will be doing Photos In Advent for the 8th year, as well as my normal diary stuff.
Back Tomorrow
Sue

ReplyDeleteI am making an A to Z scrapbook for my youngest grandkids for Christmas using old Christmas cards I have been saving. Hope they enjoy it.
I couldn't believe how many people responded - was brilliant to see
DeleteI have been looking forward to the Z post to see what you would do - zenith was not something that occurred to me! Years ago there was a comic strip in our paper with a child named Zenith (whose parents thought she was very special) so the word always has a little bubble of amusement for me. Hadn't thought of that for years, now I am smiling.
ReplyDeleteCeci
I'm glad it made you smile
DeleteI really enjoyed your A - Z posts and look forward to the Christmas ones too
ReplyDeleteAlison in Wales x
It was fun to do - certainly made a change from normal
DeleteI once read that most people rise to the point of incompetence. When I look around this seems pretty accurate. Rise and fall seems the norm; then start again.
ReplyDeleteAnd often get paid more for being incompetent too!
DeleteEnjoyed your A-Z posts, Sue, and always look forward to your Advent posts.
ReplyDelete:-) --Elise
