  1. I really like the look of this book - the page that you published on the 13th was so interesting. Also about the stocking fillers etc from my era! I am going to try and get it possibly after Christmas, hope that you print a few more pages. By the way we enjoyed your visit to Bressingham as it's a long time since we visited the gardens etc. I have some plants in our garden which were bought from there years ago.

  2. What an interesting book. Life is quite trying at the moment with the strikes especially the rail one. Greatly anticipated family events have had to be cancelled due to the strikes.

  3. Very interesting - we don't always appreciate how lucky we are do we?

  5. I hope the strike can be settled reasonable soon. The trains can't be unavailable for long periods of time.

  6. Still good advice to limit travel during the Christmas period.

  7. Do you know, we haven't had a single Christmas card by post yet. I posted mine 2 weeks ago via first class and some still haven't arrived at their destination. We're also expecting important letters and they are held up too. Its very frustrating. As you say, they worked all through the war....
