Nothing To Say

Thanks to everyone for so many comments yesterday....the good, the bad and the ugly. I just ignore the snarky and didn't bother to delete any - giving everyone their say.

Today I'm short of ideas for blog posts...............not a lot happening except sorting stuff, packing boxes then moving empty shelves and cupboards to clean behind them.

I'll be back when I've something to say or Saturday, whichever comes first!

  1. A great idea not to blog unless there's something to say. So many bloggers are endlessly reporting what they're going to batch cook and watch on tv. I wish they'd stop telling us about how much time they spend on their couches under their snuggle blankets! It's difficult to blog with so little going on but I always enjoy your very interesting blog posts.

  2. In that case I hope you either have a good book to read, or can manage to find some sport to watch, during your tea breaks.

I will miss your posts for it helps me to write and read it takes along time sometimes but it is good for me. Enjoy your few days of.

  5. It's annoying, isn't it, when it seems like there's nothing much to blog about. In the past I've tried drafting a few in advance for such times but I've run out of them!

And I think we 've all got all kinds of thoughts going round in our heads at the moment. We all know they're broadly the same things, things everyone is worrying about. It doesn't make thinking up good blog posts very easy.

  6. Good luck with the packing! Radio 4 is my go to choice of background noise. I do have to turn off some of the drama programmes though, but generally I love Radio 4. Occasionally I learn something new to me too.

  7. Somebody once said (and I can't remember who but somebody reading this might enlighten us) -'I have nothing to say and I am saying it - and that's poetry'

  14. I find it hard to write too, seeing so much of the same things. That's why when I find something slightly different it is exciting

  17. Hope you are making good progress with sorting, packing and cleaning, you don't realise how mentally as well as physically wearing it is until you have to pack up a whole house by yourself.
Do look after yourself and enjoy the last little while in your house.
