Our old laptop is not at all well. So people watching our Zoom service at church this morning had to put up with serious flickering. Technology is great - while it is working!!
It's a pain getting a new laptop and transferring eveything across and becoming familiar with new ways of doing things because there are always some changes. Fortunately, I got one about 8 months ago before I was forced into Windows 11. No doubt I'll have to upgrade to W11 eventually.
Looking forward to hearing from you then. I just got a new iMac desktop computer. My old one was getting very slow. I found a refurbished model. I hired my work's IT guy to do the transfer over the weekend. He'll wipe my old one and get it back to factory specs and I'll give it to my son. They'll use it for typing and maybe internet and homework now that their children are starting school.
I have 'invested' in a new laptop too, a Chromebook, why cann't new ones do the same as old ones. Good luck with yours.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear you've got the new laptop up and running.
