The January Jigsaw is finished. There are 15 difference between the box lid and the actual jigsaw, how many can you spot?
Most are spot-able despite the size of the finished puzzle picture
Box Lid Picture
The actual puzzle completed.
A couple of close-ups to help
I'll do a list on Thursday.
Now I can get the puzzle away and table empty because I need it for sorting out the 2024 paperwork folder, filing the things to keep and chucking what isn't needed. I won't be starting another puzzle until the end of January when the Surrey family have been and gone.
Back Tomorrow
Sue.
I don't know if I could cope with a jigsaw where the picture was different.
ReplyDeleteThe differences aren't really noticeable as you do the puzzle so not a hard thing to do
DeleteNice jigsaw. (Follow up re: Bury Street Dental - I'm a very nervous patient but found both the dentist and hygienist good and very patient.)
ReplyDeleteI will check them out - thank you
DeleteNever mind it being a 'busy' jigsaw with a lot going on and keeping you on your toes - the fact there are subtle differences too! Wonder how many?
ReplyDelete15 to spot
DeleteThat's a nice jigsaw. My Christmas present one is beautiful but a challenge! I saw a few differences.
ReplyDeleteThis one was good to do, not too much snow to fit in after all the coloured bits
DeleteBTW, Diarmaid's surname is MacCulloch, but he is well used to incorrect spellings!
ReplyDeleteand with his first name too I should think!
DeleteMy dentist is a gorgeous Indian guy, but rearranging two letters in his name gives you a popular curry dish. I can distract myself in the chair by dreaming up other similar dentist spoonerisms. Sam Jandwich, Linda Voo and Pete Swotatoes...
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm in the dentist chair with my mouth wide open I'm just trying not to panic!
DeleteI can't fit both pictures on my screen so can't identify differences - that's my excuse, anyway!
ReplyDeleteThat could be a legitimate reason!
DeleteI think I spotted them! The picture of the finished puzzle was a little blurry in spots, but I'm counting it done! We have another dusting of snow today so I will be out shoveling again! Ugh!
ReplyDeleteWell Done. I couldn't get the light right on the finished puzzle, light off wasn't bright enough, light on and too much reflection, oh well
DeleteI got as couple of them, but then my eyes complained about the having to scroll up and down. It's a nice jigsaw. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, please do sort out the paperwork and jettison anything that doesn't need saving. Mum's reams and reams of paperwork and printing, keeping and filing emails has been driving me mad.
Every year I shove everything in a folder and every January I sort them out. I've got a metal file thing for long term stuff, lots of bits can be chucked out thank fully.
DeleteI gave up after finding 7! Yes I agree with Sue above re paperwork - my Mum's paperwork (and her dozens and dozens of filled notebooks!) was a nightmare to sort.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I'll try and keep things simple for my family but as life gets more complicated and everything moves on line it seems to get more difficult
DeleteI feel sorry for whoever will have to sort my notebooks... at least I have been jettisoning my teaching stuff!
ReplyDeleteI wonder about keeping all the old bits I wrote for the Smallholders Newsletter - but still have them at the moment.
DeleteReally pretty jigsaw, by the way.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't too difficult which is why it was finished rather than abandoned!
DeleteI like your jigsaw very much and glad you have managed to spot the differences. Catriona
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty one! Nice job!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely jigsaw and I love the clever twist of spot the difference. I've seen some but not that many. xx
ReplyDeletei like the Winter scene in your puzzle. I never considered a puzzle would be different from the picture on the box.
ReplyDeleteI found a few differences but not all 15. The one I saw immediately was the number of birds in the birdbath.
Organizing for 2025 is always a good thing. I've cleared closets and next I need to go through the office desk and files.
Interesting puzzle…I have a new to me tilting table that I can now wheel in front of a comfy chair and the tilt has enabled me to see the picture even in our poorly lit living room. X
ReplyDeleteA couple days ago, I saw an all black jigsaw puzzle. All the feedback on that one said that it was a very hard puzzle. I bought my daughter and son-in-law a murder mystery puzzle some time back. You had to put it together to solve the crime.
ReplyDeleteSpotted a few differences and will be looking at the list of differences you will post.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Well done with the puzzle. That looks like a fun one!
