Here is a letter received on Saturday - from our water company
The man came Friday to look at the stopcock as we have asked for a water meter. As far as I know they hadn't actually said what time he would come as it didn't involve coming in the house so it didn't matter and how did a letter get from there to here in less than a day anyway?
But why?

How strange that you are with Essex and Suffolk Water but the cheque will come from Northumbrian Water. Nice that it's coming though, wherever it comes from!

ReplyDeleteSo glad I read your blog today Sue. British Gas should have come to fit a smart meter last Thursday but didn't turn up! After reading your blog I rang them to complain and I too have received £30 thanks to you. They said they went to the wrong address but no-one rang to tell me. My mind boggles how can you go to a wrong address with a sat-nav? It was probably nearly home time and he wanted his tea! Anyway thanks Sue I really enjoy reading your blog. Pauline x
