Something has nibbled.....................................

........................ my radishes!

Just big enough to pull for my salad but they've been spoiled by mice, slugs or birds. They didn't go to waste as I cut off the manky bits and ate the middles. Now how to protect the rest of the row?

  2. I guess this new garden will be a learning curve regarding its pesky creatures.

  3. Looks irritatingly familiar ~ I've always thought slugs, but could be mice.

  4. This is precisely why we stopped ever growing radishes.

  6. Night patrol with a torch to catch the slugs & snails in action is the only solution here as they are getting very active in the warmer weather.

  8. That's so annoying. There's always something waiting to get to lovely home grown veg before we get the chance to harvest it.

  9. Oh dear! Hope you discover the culprit! We had deer and rabbits munching on our garden produce last year. So discouraging.

  10. I think the birds are desperate for moisture too. I've put water out for them so they leave my plants alone! Like you I wouldn't be deterred.
