Big Boot-Sale ....But Few Finds

Last Sunday morning was a bit dull and quite windy so I wasn't sure how many people would be selling but it was much busier than the week before.

I walked past all the tons of clothes, ornaments, toys and junk - and only spent £1 each on two things. A set of alphabet stamps in the box and numbers and punctuation loose - something I've never owned despite making cards for years and a brand new thing which I call a wheat bag  but here it is a "Soothing Body Wrap" which will make a Christmas present for someone.

Then home for breakfast.

Back Tomorrow

  1. I often see new things being resold on our facebook pages, which I say every time, why do some people so quickly buy things and not use them. I am a member of a coupon and bargains group, and often someone will post of something on sale and all the ' I want one' comments drive me crazy. On the flip it does mean we can get a few good bargains on out hunt.

    1. I thought they might come in handy for the grandchildren as I'm not making cards much and £1 isn't too bad for a might come in handy thing

  3. I could do with one of those wheat bags right now! I think I must have slept awkwardly as I have a lovely stiff neck.

    1. I've had one for years and it's really handy if I've been in a draught or driven with the window open too much and get a stiff neck

    1. That reminds me I MUST get my pots all washed before the weather gets any colder as I do them outside in a water butt. A huge heap waiting

  6. A couple of good buys, it's good to only pick up what will be useful or make good gifts. Some folk do just buy things because they are cheap, or maybe they just love clutter.

    1. I do wonder if people ever sell all the stuff they carefully lay out on their tables week after week. It would bore me silly doing that every time

  8. You may not have gotten much but you did find a couple of excellent buys! Plus you got out of the house for a bit of fresh air and a walk.
