ReplyDeleteShe was a mostly happy baby
DeleteI don't have a daughter, or a son for that matter, I only have to look in the mirror to feel old. Very kind of you to offer prizes in your last post. I am ok for crafty supplies so I didn't reply to it.
ReplyDeleteYou must have done thousands of posts on your blog!

DeleteCutie.
ReplyDeleteShe certainly was - and still is!
DeleteAww ... she was gorgeous then and I bet she still is. Happy 40th to your lovely daughter.
ReplyDeleteI have that particular milestone to come to next year when my son reaches the big four oh, but as he already helped in making me a great-granny for the last year, he's already done his bit in making me feel old ;-)
With oldest grandchild only just 4 I doubt I'll be around to be a great grandmother!
DeleteI feel older. My YOUNGEST is 40 next week!
ReplyDeleteHave to wait till 2027 for my youngest to be 40 and then I really will be old!
DeleteHappy birthday to your daughter - our elder son 'celebrates' the same milestone on Saturday and is on his own 200 miles away! Looking forward to being able to meet up again. Congratulations on your 1000th blogpost here - I have been reading for a number of years now and, like others who don't blog, am amazed that you are able to find interesting content to write about. Like Ilona, I've plenty of crafting supplies and in fact have one of the wartime cookbooks on my shelf so thank you but no thanks this time. All the best, Vicki
ReplyDeleteThank you I'm glad you like reading. Sometimes I think I've run out of ideas but usually think of some to ramble on about!
DeleteWhat a beautiful smile. A very Happy Birthday to your daughter. And yes, they grow up much too fast. X
ReplyDeleteTime flies much too fast - even in lockdown
DeleteHappy Birthday to your daughter, What a cutie. I'm wondering how Amy has got to 20. These zero numbers really make you take stock of the time that's passed that's for sure. xx
ReplyDeleteSon will be 40 next year and youngest in 2027 - then I will be really ancient
DeleteHappy Birthday to your daughter - such a bonny picture. It will be a birthday to remember!

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to her.

She was an easy baby which was lucky because son arrived just 17 months later and was a right pain!
DeleteSo sweet! Happy Birthday to your daughter. My oldest daughter turned 45 on April 30th and I was 30 years old when she was born...
ReplyDeleteHow do years go so fast. When I was young I didn't believe "old" people when they said things like that! Now I know they were telling the truth
DeleteHappy Birthday to your daughter! My oldest son will be 41 in a couple of weeks. His life has flown by for me - I remember my joy when he was born! How did they grow up so quickly!
ReplyDeleteWe were so young and naive all those years ago!

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your daughter! That is such a cute picture of her as a baby. I understand your feelings as the children have more birthdays. Both of my sons are in their 40s now, in fact the older one is 48, and it does indeed make me feel much older!
