Making Me Feel Old

My Beautiful Eldest Daughter is 40 today .

  5. I don't have a daughter, or a son for that matter, I only have to look in the mirror to feel old. Very kind of you to offer prizes in your last post. I am ok for crafty supplies so I didn't reply to it.

  7. Happy birthday to her! My 'baby' was 22 on Sunday and is about to graduate. He's being fast tracked into the NHS and will be working by the end of the month. They grow up so quickly xxx

    Our Grandson is 30 in a couple of days time and we can't celebrate either. We'll all have to get together later won't we?

  9. Aww ... she was gorgeous then and I bet she still is. Happy 40th to your lovely daughter.

    I have that particular milestone to come to next year when my son reaches the big four oh, but as he already helped in making me a great-granny for the last year, he's already done his bit in making me feel old ;-)

  11. Happy birthday to your daughter - our elder son 'celebrates' the same milestone on Saturday and is on his own 200 miles away! Looking forward to being able to meet up again. Congratulations on your 1000th blogpost here - I have been reading for a number of years now and, like others who don't blog, am amazed that you are able to find interesting content to write about. Like Ilona, I've plenty of crafting supplies and in fact have one of the wartime cookbooks on my shelf so thank you but no thanks this time. All the best, Vicki

  19. Happy Birthday to your daughter! That is such a cute picture of her as a baby. I understand your feelings as the children have more birthdays. Both of my sons are in their 40s now, in fact the older one is 48, and it does indeed make me feel much older!
