Remember me asking about the chart to make the scissor case a few weeks ago and all the lovely people who found a copy on line that I was able to print out?
The first one is finished,
the second has been started................... they will be little Christmas gifts.
Back Tomorrow

That’s lovely Sue I wish I could make things like that but I have bad hands and can’t hold a needle anymore. Heather

ReplyDeleteThat's cute, love it.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea and great sewing!
ReplyDeleteSue that so reminds me of a scissor holder my Mum had hanging in the kitchen when we were kids - made of felt (the kind we used to use for carpet in NZ back then - so REALLY thick and tough) 2 layers blanket stitched together with an extra layer for wings. The scissor handles outlined the eyes like that, and the wings lifted up to reveal lighter felt inserts for holding needles and pins. It was always our go-to for a needle to dig out thorns and splinters.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this! How sweet and a simple pleasure to sew as well.
ReplyDeletePretty and clever how the handles are the eyes.
