Our little poppet Florence is 8 months old now.
We usually try to get over to see her once a week, saw her yesterday and she was in chatty mood, trying out all sorts of sounds. She gets around at quite a speed commando style on her tummy, daughter found her sucking the pram wheels! Washed her mouth very quickly!
And our cheeky monkey Jacob was one at the end of May, hopefully he'll be coming up from Surrey to visit before the end of June. We'll need to move a lot of things up out of reach!
Sue
They look alike, and look very happy.
ReplyDeleteThems (yes I know spellchecker!) two gorgeous grandchildren! x
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I bet they keep their Mama's on their toes.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Lovely smiley babes. You are quite right to show them off. They grow so quickly. I have a meeting this evening at the school Lily will be going to in September. How can that be? It only seems like yesterday she was born. X
ReplyDeleteYou have every right to be a proud grandma! Thank you for sharing the pictures!
ReplyDeleteLovely grand babies! I have no small ones now and really miss snuggling little ones although the hugs, kisses and conversations of the older ones is lovely too.
ReplyDeleteThey're gorgeous Sue, you have evety right to show off!
ReplyDeleteThey're still very alike aren't they?
I can really see a lot of you in Florence, some in Jacob but not as much.
Our LJ is nine and a half months now, and just started walking, he's into everything. Looking after him three days a week is lovely, he's an absolute joy to be with, but by the time he leaves in the evening, we're both exhausted!
It's a relief that he's walking so early though (his dad did too) as he now weighs 28lbs and isn't easy for me to carry far! He's not fat though, he's tall and solid, in twelve to eighteen month sized clothes!
Look at those lovely eyes! how beautiful she is going to be
ReplyDeleteBoth of your grand babies are very cute and both look so happy. Now when will your son and his new bride add a bundle of joy?
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful babies! And you'd know they're related just looking at them. You must be a very proud & happy Nana.
ReplyDeleteThey are both adorable and look alike. Time fly's by so quickly. They're going to live all those things you've been buying.
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous children. I bet they keep you busy!
ReplyDeleteNothing better than being a Nana, lovely photo's.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. She looks like she enjoys getting up to mischief!
ReplyDeleteThis is what Nanas and grannies are for to show off the grandchildren. Aren't they just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThey are SO cute, you and your husband can be proud of them.
ReplyDeleteI like your blog, I recently found it and read it through.
