Oh heck it's all crime again! I promise I'm not using these as reference for planning a murder.
I've requested all of them and will enjoy reading them all but I really ought to be having a bit more variety.
Sorry seem to have chopped off half the authors. Really should put my glasses on when I take photos
Three favourite authors all at once - Elly Griffiths, Jaqueline Winspear and Anne Perry.............which to read first........... decisions, decisions!
As always books read last month have been added to the Books Read 2018 page.

I’m reading a Dawn French book for the readers’ group this month-not impressed so far. I’ll be thinking about you all tomorrow as you say goodbye to Col.
ReplyDeleteIt's summer here and books are not being read, I won't get anywhere near last years reading total.
ReplyDeleteHope tomorrow goes all right Su.
ReplyDeleteWith love.

I love Jacqueline Winspear! I too have been on a real mystery book jag lately. I am working my way through Camilla Lackberg's series, just finished the last Donna Leon and the latest Peter May. My library card has been getting a real workout.
ReplyDeleteYour first comment made me laugh - I attended a mystery writer/fan festival last October (thousands of attendees) and one of the most popular speakers was a nurse from the US who is known as "The Poison Lady" as it is her field of expertise and many writers contact her when writing. There were so many questions for her that another person on the panel (a former FBI agent) commented "Just so you know - we'll be taking names at the door!" :-)
I would be starting with the Elly Griffiths, but I'd be happy to read any one of the others. I don't think I have heard of Julie Wassmer, I will check her out.
ReplyDeleteSet in Whitstable in Kent - what I call fluffy crime! A friend who knows the area said they describe that area well
DeleteDon't know what's wrong with me lately, just can't get into reading. But I love when you show us what you are reading. I love mysteries as well, so I welcome suggestions. Sometimes I can't get the same authors, must be a Canada / England thing. Hope you are doing well. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting your books. I love seeing what others are reading as it gives me some good ideas for reading material.
ReplyDeleteI really like mysteries and crime so these titles are calling to me.
God bless.
Looks like a nice lot of books. I want to read the Elly Griffiths one. Love that series!
