There are still a few yellow roses in bud and some white cyclamen in the oval rose garden but in the quarter circle garden round the back are the last flowering plants of the year.
Some pink Chrysanthemums
Thanks for comments on posts. It's very strange that the print is small on my blog for Joan. It is 'normal' in the list of type size. These are the sizes smallest, small, normal, large, largest!!!
If I did it all in large it would seem very big for me to read. Also odd that some people couldn't see the first picture on the bonfire blog. Thanks to Mary for saying the topics on my blog are interesting. Sorry you can't find the right ingredients for Delia's recipes. I'm wondering what you don't have available?
How many readers find this size better? - Let me know.
My ride-on mower went off for a service/clean/mend yesterday so I hope the weather doesn't turn warm to make the grass start growing again, it was very chilly when I was outside talking to the bloke who collected it. He was telling me which relatives used to live in various houses and cottages around me....interesting info, now all the houses are owned by incomers.....although me and next-door-but-one haven't come from far away. He timed things just right because 10 minutes later the wind suddenly got stronger, the house went dark and the rain came down in torrents. I'm so glad I don't have to worry about flooding here - it must be heart breaking to know that every rain storm could leave your house ruined. Living here there are no rivers for miles and I think I must be on the top of a watershed.
