A sunset photo from the 3rd of July. It was sunrise photos that featured on my old blog from the smallholding, here the sunrise is hidden but the sunsets are sometimes wonderful.
Sending a (gentle) hug to you - so sorry you’re having a tough week and hope your back is better very soon. I hope you can enjoy the tennis today and over the weekend. Take care xx
Hang in there Sue. I may not appear daily in your comments, but you are in my thoughts every day and I am sending you the best of thoughts and virtual hugs. Keeping going with the swimming and gardening and so on is all good and eventually it becomes some sort of help in dealing with things, not a fix, but a help. xx
Nature is so wonderful - a beautiful sunset at the close of another day and sets the scene doesn't it to go and rest until the sunrise and we can wake up to the start of a brand new day. I hope your next sunrise brings an easier day for you. x
What a lovely photograph. The sunsets here are always hidden as our house faces East, so we get lovely sunrises to notice instead.
Sorry that you are having a rough week. I guess that is bound to happen now and again, when you would do anything to have Col back. I hope your back is better soon too. Gentle ((hugs)) and thinking of you.
Keep going Sue it does get easier, I'm a year on from loosing my husband to cancer and it does get slowly better, the first year is the hardest because you have to do all the 1st without them, first Christmas, anniversary birthdays etc but I'm sure you'll get lots of support from your family. Heather
You're experiencing a double whammy, grieving with physical pain makes it even harder. Sending mega vibes for your back to improve and that next week will be brighter!
If I lived nearby I would be over there like a shot to take you out for morning coffee, or simply sit and chat, or to whisk you off to the doctor/chiropractor, depending which is the more pressing...and if none of those hit the mark I would tell you some stories which would make your hair curl. Thinking of you and sending you all my best wishes.
Just echoing the earlier posts and sending sympathy. I can't imagine how you feel with no one to hear or sympathise or make you a drink etc. I hope the Wimbledon matches today are nail biting and transport you to another place just for a while and that you find a good book over the weekend to lose yourself in. I have no idea what your views on dogs is but they can be good companions.( I’m not suggesting one as a substitute but as a way of giving you someone to mutter to.) Sue
If I lived near you I’d be on offer as a driver/waterer/ food gatherer if you wanted me to help. Your back pain will be bringing you down Sue on top of your grief and loss. I think about you each day as I read your post-healing thoughts are flowing your way.
Might I add my good wishes, Sue. You are doing great, girl, taking one step at a time. Sorry you are having a rough time right now, but sending love from Devon. Margaret P
Like all your blogging friends I wish I could come over and help. As we can't I hope you are asking others to pitch in. This is not the time to do it all or worry about doing it all. Hugs.
Hello Sue, you sound really down and have every reason to be so, but I think you'll know that you're in so many hearts and thoughts, so hope that will be a comfort for you.
