A Few Cards

Using a few bits from the card making stash and then some more of the 3D Decoupage sheets that I got last year I've made some thank you cards and a couple of birthday cards. I think there are now enough cards in my card box for the year.

I'm working my way through all the card making stuff acquired over the last 30+  years, really don't want to buy more or move it all again.

Thank you for all the comments yesterday

Back Tomorrow

  1. They are beautiful, I have stopped making cards at the moment as I have plenty. I still keep a few odd crafty bits though.

  2. I like making the decoupage cards and was given some by a friend who was giving up cardmaking. Very therapeutic to make.

  4. Your cards are very nice Sue and it's lovely to receive a pretty card. I use to make for lots of cards for the hospice to sell until I moved and can't make them now but still have all the stuff I am hoping I can make them again.

  6. Your cards are lovely, I use the decoupage sheets, they make up such pretty cards. Although had an e-mail recently to say the company is closing, what a shame. Helen S.

    1. Oh Bother, I didn't know Craft Creations were closing down, what a shame, they are the only place I've found the very thin sticky pads for 3D decoupage. Stopping their magazine must have caused a drop in orders.

  7. Your cards are lovely Sue.

Sometimes I miss making cards, but not enough I guess to start again. It's nice when you get into a creative frame of mind though and designs come easily isn't it. You can happily lose yourself for a few hours and have something nice to show for it at the end.

  10. Thought I'd let you know they are not closing until the end of March, but are only taking orders until the begining of March, the lease is up on their building so need to clear out everything by the end of March, I just had a look and they currently still have the sticky pads, so you could get some to tied you over if you needed. 11. Those cards are a delight, so fresh and pretty. I hope you have plenty of indoor things to keep you occupied for a day or two - the weather forecast looks...cold.

  15. The cards are just beautiful! I hate to think of all the arts and crafts supplies I have squirreled away. I really need to go through everything and possibly donate some to the local Community Center. They have a day care and a before and after school program, and I'm sure they could put it to good use.
