This is the jigsaw I've just finished. It was interesting to do as there are 15 differences between the actual jigsaw and the picture on the front of the box
I eventually found them all, some are small so might be difficult to see from the photos.
How many differences can you find?
No Prizes but I'll list the answers in a couple of days.
Back Tomorrow
Sue
How intriguing! Was it an actual Spot the Difference thing mentioned on the box, or was it accidental? I'm assuming it was meant to be, or else their quality control needs a bit of work! I see 2 differences straight away, but it's early and I've not finished my coffee yet!
ReplyDeleteYes the box was labelled as "spot the 15 differences! and I hadn't seen one before so had no idea how big or small the differences would be
DeleteOh I love things like this! So far I've found 14. I'm just the opposite of Sooze - it's very late here and I'm about to go to bed! I love puzzles with added things like this. Have you seen the puzzles where you solve a crime while working the puzzle? I'vd done one and it was interesting.
ReplyDeleteWOW well done. I found 13 quickly but took an age to find two more
DeleteLike Sooze, I wondered if the differences were intentional in order to make it more of a challenge. There are some lovely colours in the picture. X
ReplyDeleteYes intentional
DeleteWhat a clever idea. I've spotted 4 straightaway, but will come back to it later. Great picture too (should that be plural, as technically there are two pictures?)
ReplyDeleteIt was a good (ie easy!) puzzle to do full of interest
DeleteI can see 7 or 8 at first glance. I would not like to do a puzzle like this. I like the picture to be as it is on the box. I once bought one of those solve the crime/what happened next puzzles where the picture is nothing like the end result. (I purchased it by mistake). It had an option to write off for the puzzle picture so I did that. As we always say about puzzles, they have to be enjoyable, and for me that is the enjoyable way. I agree that that puzzle does look full of interest though.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't like one where the picture is completely different, or the sort that have a heap of sweets or something similar. We have one in the charity shop at the mo that is just a huge blank crossword puzzle - I thought...Why?
DeleteOr baked beans.
DeleteI’m with Bonnie and Rachel in this one. I found the differences quite easy to spot, perhaps because one of my occupations required an eye for detail. Agree with Rachel that I would not have enjoyed doing this jigsaw, I don’t do many jigsaws but when I do I like photographs and one with a higher degree of difficulty. As Rachel said, puzzles have to be enjoyable.

Well done!
DeleteWhat a lovely jigsaw.
ReplyDeleteI've not long done an HOP puzzle and there was a brochure in the box showing the spot the difference puzzles. I did wonder what they were like to do and here you are showing me. I quite fancy one now.
Hugs-x-
Did it say how many Spot the difference ones there are? This one said Number 1.
DeleteI think there are fifteen spot the difference puzzles Sue.
DeleteHugs-x-
I have never seen i puzzle like that one before very interesting and such a little very picture.

It was good to do.
DeleteI would have loved this jigsaw. I spotted four things easily but will come back later for another look.
ReplyDeleteOne is very hard to spot in the photos
DeleteWhat make of puzzle is this Sue, I think it’s a great idea.
ReplyDeleteHouse of Puzzles (HOP) they also have odd shaped pieces which makes things interesting. I shall look round charity shops for another of these spot the difference ones. The shop and life boat puzzles I did in November were also HOP so will concentrate on looking out for that manufacturer again
DeleteWhat a gorgeous scene on the jigsaw. I picture my days like that scene - in reality it's not though! :)
ReplyDeleteI spotted the jacket on the left and the bird on the edge of the pond almost immediately. And am going to exercise considerable restraint and not try to find the rest!
ReplyDeleteIn the days when I did 'proper' puzzles I loved the ones by HoP.
What an interseting jigsaw - I like the fact it has the differences. Think I have got them all but one or two are quite small as you say so on the photo it is hard to make out. Like someone above part of my job was a spot the difference type of work looking continuously at the details so they stand out to me straight away.
ReplyDeleteFound 3 right away, but my eyes are going crossed looking now. I will try for more later.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I had to smile, the men are bundled up in warm clothes and the woman is wearing a short-sleeved dress! Nice puzzle - I like the extra element of fun.
ReplyDeleteI see 6 so far. I love puzzles of both kind-jig saw and visual
ReplyDeleteI got 13, I can't for the life of me find the other 2 π
ReplyDeleteLovely jigsaw though.
I've got all 15 it's a lovely jigsaw and then you get to do the quiz thanks Sue xx
ReplyDeleteI found 4 right off.. that's unusual, isn't it?
ReplyDelete((hugs)), Teresa :-)
I've spotted 14 and can't find the last one! lol I think it's a very fun idea for a puzzle. I like puzzles with a lot of little detail and this is one.
ReplyDelete13 x
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, I've spotted about 10 so far, and there are about 15 different ones on The House of Puzzles website so plenty to track down in the charity shops!
ReplyDeleteTen so far. Not seen a 'spot the difference' puzzle before.
