Just a quick post scheduled today............
After taking the topless and bottomless old rusty dustbin to the tip, there was then nothing to force the rhubarb this year so I wasn't expecting to eat any before moving . But it looked nice and pink so I pulled a few bits and made a Lazy Fool in a Jug. ...Twice......Delicious.
Today is my last full day here, lots of last minute stuff to pack and load into the car. Tomorrow the removal men come to take everything to storage and on Wednesday I hand over the keys. I'll be back after settling into the holiday let - provided I can get the internet to connect!
Back ASAP
Sue
Thinking of you this week. Sleep well in the unfamiliar bed! Hoping the Internet works too xxx love & prayers xxx

That rhubarb looks so good. Something I need to plant here (hope it enjoys building rubble!) Good luck with transplanting to the holiday cottage.
ReplyDeleteInternet connections are usually good in holiday lets, the owners reputation is at stake, reviews and all that. Have fun. I assumed you would be doing this move at leisure with your keys for a few days. At least you aren't going to be one out one in on the same day.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Sue, I hope everything goes smoothly.

ReplyDeleteAll the very best to you! We move on Friday after 6 months of yes, no, yes, no - so now it's a mad oven cleaning, window washing, carpet scrubbing last few days! Ours is a massive downsize move so have had to be ruthless about getting shot of "stuff" which has been very cathartic.
