This is probably the 7th or 8th year ( maybe even more) I've been, but of course Col always drove and knew his way round Suffolk without even thinking about it, so I was chuffed to actually find the place as it's middle-of-nowhere and the sat-nav on my phone lost connection a few miles from home. Luckily I'd taken an OS map and knew which villages I needed to head for and only went wrong once............It would be easier if there weren't so many broken road signs.
All the books are 50p or £1and there is always a good crowd. Some grabbing everything that looked interesting and others like me picking and choosing.
This is what I bought.
Two by Derek Tangye, whose books I didn't read when they were first published. A Barbara Pym book that I've not read. "Murder on Christmas Eve" is a book of short stories by modern authors.
3 books for the grandchildren including one for the advent collection.
The next big charity book sale is much further away, right down near Colchester - main road all the way. Hope I'm brave enough.
